Q: My old silicone is really bad. Do I need to remove it all first?
A: For the best adhesion, we recommend scraping off any high points or loose bits of the old silicone and cleaning the area thoroughly with an alcohol-based cleaner to remove residue and dust. SELLA TRIM™ will then cover the remaining flat line of old silicone perfectly.
Q: Is this suitable for bathrooms and kitchens?
A: Yes! It’s perfect for high-moisture areas. Because it’s a solid, non-porous uPVC trim, it won’t harbour mould and can be easily wiped clean, making it a more hygienic and durable solution than silicone.
Q: Can I paint SELLA TRIM™?
A: SELLA TRIM™ is designed with a durable, high-quality colour finish (White, Black, or Grey) that does not require painting. We do not recommend painting over it as this may affect the flexible rubber seal.
